TUR-P (transurethral resection of the prostate)

TUR-P is a surgical procedure to treat an enlarged prostate, which can cause urination problems. The surgery is performed through the urethra, where excess prostate tissue is removed to improve urine flow. Before surgery, conservative treatments such as medications and lifestyle changes are considered. The goal of TUR-P is to reduce symptoms, improve quality of life, and ensure normal bladder function.
