Introduction
Dr. Fast Track AS (organization number 930 751 650) (“Dr. Fast Track”) cares about the privacy of individuals and is obliged to process personal data in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations. This privacy statement provides you with information about how Dr. Fast Track processes personal data, including what personal data we collect, why we process your personal data, and your rights relating to the processing of that data.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, Dr. Fast Track is the data controller. Please note that the healthcare institution is the controller of the personal data you transfer to the healthcare institution, such as personal data you enter in Dr. Fast Track's web portal to find a healthcare facility that suits your needs. Personal data, purpose and legal basis for the processing
Dr. Fast Track processes personal data relating to individuals who use our web portal and website, contact persons of our clients, service providers and business partners, potential job applicants and others who contact Dr. Fast Track. The personal data may be provided by the data subject himself, from publicly available sources or from third parties such as service providers, partners, parents/guardians of children under 18 years of age.
We may process your personal data in connection with the following processing activities:
- Web Portal Login: Dr. Fast Track will process the web portal users' email address, phone number and bank ID (at first login) to ensure secure login and identification of the users. The legal basis for this processing is Dr. Fast Track's legitimate interest in ensuring secure login and identification of users (GDPR Article 6 (1) (f)). The personal data will be stored for six years after the last login to the web portal.
- Guardian/Parent Approval: Dr. Fast Track will process the date of birth, email address, telephone number, mailing address and bank ID for patients under 18 years of age and the guardian/parent who creates an account on behalf of the patient, to ensure that the parent/guardian approves the health care. The treatment is based on Dr. Fast Track's legitimate interest in ensuring a safe patient journey for patients under the age of 18. The personal data will be stored for six years after the last login to the web portal.
- Patient follow-up: Dr. Fast Track will process the web portal user's name, telephone number, email address and the date of the planned procedure to provide the user with information on how to obtain reimbursement for the procedure from the relevant authorities. The processing is based on the user's consent (GDPR Article 6 (1) (a)). The personal data will be stored for as long as it is necessary to respond to any requests from users.
- Billing: Dr. Fast Track will process the name of the procedure performed at the health facility as well as a ticket number that the health care institution can associate with the patient to ensure billing of our services provided to the health institution. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in securing payment for our services provided (GDPR Article 6 (1) (f)). The personal data will be stored for as long as necessary to receive the payment or to comply with applicable accounting requirements.
- Contract Management and Business Relationships: In connection with the administration and management of contracts with Dr. Fast Track's clients, business partners, etc., Dr. Fast Track will process personal data such as contact information for contact persons of such customers and business partners, in addition to personal data in contracts, ongoing commercial correspondence, invoices, meeting minutes, etc. The personal data are processed for business purposes and in order to fulfil the rights and obligations arising from the contract. The legal basis is Dr. Fast Track's legitimate interest in entering into business relationships, fulfilling contracts and managing such relationships (GDPR Article 6 (1) (f)). The personal data will be stored for as long as the contract is valid or as long as either party can make claims or obligations under the contract effective.
- Respond to inquiries: Dr. Fast Track will process personal data to follow up on inquiries from users of the web portal, potential job applicants, website users and others who contact Dr. Fast Track. Dr. Fast Track may process personal data such as contact information and other personal data provided in connection with the enquiry. The legal basis for this processing is Dr. Fast Track's legitimate interest in providing support to answer and manage inquiries and other communications (GDPR Article 6 (1) (f)). The personal data will be stored for as long as it is necessary to respond to the enquiries of the data subject.
Storage period
Dr. Fast Track will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing as defined above. The storage period is specified in relation to each purpose of the processing under Section 2.
Please note that further storage may be necessary due to statutory obligations to which Dr. Fast Track is subject, such as statutory provisions relating to storage for accounting purposes, or because of Dr. Fast Track's legitimate interests, such as for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending a legal claim.
Disclosure to third parties
We will only disclose your personal data to third parties to the extent that we have a legal basis for such disclosure.
When you “like” or join our Facebook page or other social media accounts, this will be shared with the relevant platform. The same applies to activities on our social media accounts, such as content posted by you or posts you like. The relevant social media platform has its own privacy policies where you can find more information about the processing of personal data relating to such platforms.
We may share your personal data with a buyer of our business in the event of an acquisition, merger or sale of the company where personal data is part of the transferred assets.
We use data processors to collect, store and otherwise process personal data on our behalf. The relationship with such suppliers is regulated by a data processing agreement which, among other things, ensures information security of your personal data.
Dr. Fast Track will not process or store your personal data outside the EU/EEA.
Third-party websites
Dr. Fast Track's websites may include links to other third party websites. These third-party websites have their own privacy policies that determine how personal data is collected and processed. If you submit personal information to any of these third-party websites, your information will be subject to their privacy policies. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the privacy statements and terms of use of such third party websites when visiting and using such sites.
Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right to request access to the personal data we process about you, request that Dr. Fast Track update or correct your personal data and/or withdraw any consent to processing. In some cases, you also have the right to request that your personal data be deleted, request restriction of processing or object to the processing and/or request data portability. To exercise your rights, you may contact Dr. Fast Track using the contact details set out in section 1 above.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you believe that Dr. Fast Track's processing of your personal data violates relevant privacy laws.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
If Dr. Fast Track makes changes to the processing of personal data, this Privacy Policy will be updated and the change will be notified on the website/web portal or by using your contact information.
