Chief Product Officer

We are looking for an innovative and driven Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead the evolution of the Dr. Fast Track Portal. The portal is at the core of our mission to connect patients on public waiting lists across Europe with available hospital capacity, giving patients the best possible product and user experience. In this role, you will define and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with our Dr.FastTrack’s values and ambitions. You will be responsible for prioritizing features, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that our technology platform not only meets but exceeds both business objectives and user expectations.

Role Overview

As our first product lead at Dr. Fast Track, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company and our product offerings. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own and lead the strategy, roadmap, development and maintenance of our portal. Your goal will be to design, build, measure and continuously improve our portal to help connect patients quickly with the best care at the best hospitals and clinics. You’ll also work closely with COO and CCO to ensure alignment with our values and our goal of building a company that can improve the lives of millions of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with Dr. Fast Track's mission and values. Identify market opportunities, define product goals, and set a roadmap for success. Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering,
  design, and operations, to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and
  business objectives.
• Technical Leadership: Leverage your background in software engineering to manage and mentor the engineering team. Guide technical decisions, ensure best practices in coding and architecture, and contribute to hands-on development when
  necessary.
• Patient and Partner Focus: Ensure that our products prioritize the health and wellbeing of patients, while also addressing the needs of our healthcare partners. Gather and analyze feedback from patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to inform product decisions.
• Metrics and Performance: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to measure product success. Continuously monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on product features and functionality.‍
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing product team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential.‍
• Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, COO, CCO to ensure alignment on company goals and product initiatives. Communicate product strategy and progress to the executive team and other stakeholders.

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience in product ownership and innovation, particularly in web portals or digital platforms, preferrably internationally
• Strong background in product management, with a focus on creating and executing product strategies.
• Great interest in and understanding of customer experience innovation, algorithms, AI, and the application of dynamic technology testing.
• Experience in purchasing and vendor management, with the ability to drive value through strategic investments.
• Passion for healthcare and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through technology.
