Chief Product & Technology Officer

We are looking for an innovative and driven Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) to lead the evolution of the Dr.Fast Track Digital Platform. This platform is at the core of our mission to connect patients on public waiting lists across Europe with available hospital capacity, giving patients the best possible product and user experience.

In this role, you will define a compelling product and technology vision for the next version of our platform, that aligns with Dr.FastTrack’s values and ambitions for growth. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap, prioritizing features, managing the product operationally from UX design to backlog, and ensuring that our technology platform not only meets but exceeds both business objectives and user expectations.

Role Overview

As our product and tech lead at Dr. Fast Track, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company and our service offerings. You will own and lead the strategy, roadmap, development and maintenance of our digital platform. Your goal will be to design, build, measure and continuously improve our portal to help connect patients quickly with the best care at the best hospitals and clinics. You’ll also work closely with the COO and CCO to ensure alignment with our customer and partner targets and our goal of building a company that can improve the lives of millions of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with Dr. Fast Track's mission and values. Identify market opportunities, define product goals, and set a roadmap for success.

• Product Development and Maintenance: Manage the end-to-end product development process for the next versions of the platform, from ideation to launch and iterations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and business objectives.
• Technical Leadership: Leverage your experience with software engineering to manage the engineering team. Guide technical decisions, ensure best practices in coding and architecture, and contribute to hands-on development when necessary.
• Patient and Partner Focus: Ensure that our products prioritize the health and wellbeing of patients, while also addressing the needs of our healthcare partners. Gather and analyze feedback from patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to inform product decisions.
• Metrics and Performance: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to measure product success. Continuously monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on product features and functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the Dr. Fast Track team and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on company goals and product initiatives, setting targets and communicating progress to the executive team and investors.

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience in product ownership and innovation, particularly in web portals or digital platforms, preferrably internationally
• Strong background in product management, with a focus on building and scaling platforms.
• Great interest in and understanding of customer experience innovation, algorithms, AI, and the application of dynamic technology testing.
• Experience in purchasing and vendor management, with the ability to drive value through strategic investments.
• Passion for healthcare and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through technology.
